If you are from the universe of Information technology, then you are presumably familiar with ITIL or should we call it the Information Technology Infrastructure Library? It has been an integrated part of the industry since forever and continues to work as a successful framework providing the best practice for the alignment of IT service management (ITSM) to the business requirements.
ITIL v3 was the latest version of this framework since 2007, up until the 2017 itSMF Fusion conference in the USA where AXELOS has announced the arrival of ITIL 4. With the big announcement, came the bigger questions like how would ITIL 4 certification path work? Or, if the v3 certifications remain valid or not? But it was only February 2019 when v4 was released finally, and within a very short time span, it is growing on the numbers of practitioners, all over the world.
